A building or structure is a structure built for shelter or for work that divides the environment into two parts inside and outside. In the general sense, any structure can be called a building. The purpose of the building is to construct buildings with building materials such as cement, brick, gypsum, iron and so on.

Some buildings are classified in terms of their height, for example, buildings of a higher than a certain size, a high-rise building. It is interesting to know that in accordance with the law of 1377 the Supreme Council for Urban Development and Architecture in Iran is said to have high buildings in buildings above six floors.

It is also referred to as the towering buildings of the tower or the skyscraper, and to the buildings of greater old value, the mansion is called.
